The next thing you’re going to need to do is to take the proper classes. Many jobs have some sort of training programs, and because there is so much to learn in real estate, this job has one too. The classes you take need to be 72-hour Wisconsin-approved and from a state-approved pre-licensing education provider. This is, arguably, the most critical step towards this career path because you won’t know all of the necessary aspects of Real Estate without it.
On top of the final exam from the course you have to take, there is also the Wisconsin Real Estate Exam, a separate exam that is also necessary. You are eligible to take the Wisconsin Real Estate Exam once you pass the final exam from your course and you have passed the class.
Once you have passed that exam, you are then able to apply for your license. Of course, you have to make sure you do this within one year of passing the exam. You’ll also want to find a sponsoring broker as well.
All of this information with all of these steps is definitely easier said than done. Once you’re starting your Real Estate career, though, you will be so glad that you went through all of that. It’s such a great career path to take, and you will not regret it.
